Wichita pop punk band Stay The Course have delivered their new single “Pastel” today.

Vocalist Joseph Meador said this about the track, which can be heard here:

“This was the first song we fully tracked. At the start, I was nervous about the new material and honestly struggled to get motivated. One morning I just pushed myself to record vocals, and when I sat back and listened, all my doubts disappeared. That’s when I knew this record was going to be fun and that I could really try new things vocally.”

“Pastel” stems from Stay The Course’s forthcoming studio album Red Flag, which will be released on Punkerton Records later this year. More information about the release will be unveiled soon.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker.
