Star Wars Celebration returning to Japan for 2025 installment

After this past weekend’s successful Star Wars Celebration in Europe, the popular fan gathering will be making its return to Japan.
Announced today, Star Wars Celebration Japan will take place from April 18 through April 20, 2025 at the Makuhari Messe. This will be the first time the fan gathering will be in Japan since 2008’s installment. Tickets will go on sale to the general public soon.
At the aforementioned Europe installment, a slew of announcements were made, including a trio of new Star Wars films, a slew of new titles coming from Lucasfilm Publishing, and a line of new Hasbro figures. A full list of announcements and reveals can be found on the Star Wars’ website. VODs from this weekend’s Europe event can be viewed on Star Wars’ YouTube channel.
Since launching in 1999 to promote Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Star Wars Celebration has been a successful fan gathering with events taking place in the U.S. the U.K., Europe, and Asia.
