Star Overdrive to launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox this June
Days after launching on the Nintendo Switch, Star Overdrive will land elsewhere in time for summer.
Revealed today, the game will make its way to the PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on June 19. The game is available for pre-order on PlayStation and Xbox right now here. Aside from the standard edition, fans can also purchase the deluxe edition. This version includes three Hoverboard styles, one Hoverboard design, 50 dyes, the original soundtrack, and the original manga. All pre-orders will get six Hoverboard styles, two Hoverboard designs, and 50 dyes.
A synopsis for Star Overdrive reads:
Set off on a high-speed Hoverboard adventure in Star Overdrive, where fast-paced action collides with the mysteries of a distant alien world.
After intercepting a cryptic distress signal, you, the protagonist Bios, find yourself stranded on an enigmatic planet called Cebete. Armed with your versatile Keytar and advanced Hoverboard, you'll navigate diverse biomes, confront challenges, evolve your hidden powers, and uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of your beloved Nous.
