SPYAIR, Yoko Takahashi to perform at Anime Expo's J-POP SOUND CAPSULE 2026

Anime Expo is bringing back J-POP SOUND CAPSULE for another massive live concert.
Revealed yesterday, the concert will take place at the Crypto.com Arena on Thursday, July 2. Three acts have been announced for the concert so far. J-rock band SPYAIR is best known for providing themes for anime such as Gintama, Haikyu!!, and Samurai Flamenco. Yoko Takahashi is best known for their work on the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. Roselia is best known for being part of the BanG Dream! franchise. More music acts will be announced closer to the event.
Tickets for J-POP SOUND CAPSULE 2026 will go on sale May 5 at 12 p.m. PST. An Anime Expo badge is required to attend the concert.
