Splatoon 3's Deep Cut and Animal Crossing's K.K. Slider to perform at Nintendo Live 2022

Two popular videogame acts will hold special performances at Nintendo Live 2022 this weekend.

Revealed yesterday, Splatoon 3's Deep Cut will join Animal Crossing's K.K. Slider for performances on October 9. For Splatoon 3’s idol group, this will be their first live set. K.K. Slider will play the role of DJ throughout the event. The livestream will go down on Nintendo’s YouTube channel starting at 4:30 p.m. EST/7:30 p.m. PST.

Released last month, Splatoon 3 managed to sell over three million copies in its first three days of release in Japan. Since its 2020 release, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has sold nearly 40 million copies worldwide, which continues to rise as the second best-selling Nintendo Switch game ever. At the 2020 Game Awards, Animal Crossing: New Horizons won for Best Family Game.
