Nickelodeon fan event Splat Con has been cancelled

Nickelodeon-themed fan event Splat Con won’t happen this weekend.

Announced today, the promoters were forced to cancel the event at the last minute due to lack of funding. An official statement reads:

We have made the very difficult decision to cancel Splat Con 2024. Sponsors and financial backers fell through at the very last minute.

Despite our best efforts working tirelessly to get final payment to Hilton for the venue we were unable to do so successfully.

Send all concerns to us at splatconteam@gmail.com All issues will be resolved as soon as possible.

The event, which was slated to take over the Hilton Los Angeles Airport on Saturday and Sunday, would’ve featured a slew of Nickelodeon stars such as Kel Mitchell, Shar Jackson, Omar Gooding, and E.G. Daily. The convention would’ve also had panels featuring the casts of Hey Dude, All That, and Wild & Crazy Kids. More information about Splat Con can be found here.
