Pasadena Convention Center was the home for the 2025 installment of SoCal Gaming Expo, and a plethora of video game enthusiasts packed the convention center for a weekend of shopping and casual gameplay.

The showfloor was filled with various vendors from the region looking to sell gaming products of all kinds whether it was a custom Nintendo Gamecube console or some rare retro apparel. The showfloor also featured some skate sessions on the ramp and musical performances from artists such as violinist Abigail Tsai. Outside of the showfloor, attendees got to meet with a slew of voice talent from their favorite games such as Marvel Rivals, Call of Duty, and Grand Theft Auto V.

Plenty of attendees came to engage in some gaming, and there was plenty of it available at SoCal Gaming Expo. Pinball fanatics crowded around the pinball machines in the show floor while folks engaged in some classic arcade gaming on the other side of the convention. A slew of retro consoles were available for those wanting to relive their childhood or take a swing at some consoles released decades before they were born. Several gaming tournaments went down as well, including the Classic Tetris World Championship and the Super Mario Bros. Speedrunning Tournament.

Our photos from the event can be seen below. More information about the SoCal Gaming Expo can be found here. Dates for the 2026 installment will be released soon.
