SKATERS release new single "Girls Like You" (playing Bowery Ballroom tonight)

NYC post-punk band SKATERS have unveiled their first new material in six years today.
The song “Girls Like You” has been released to coincide the band’s first show in six years tonight (June 23) at Bowery Ballroom.
Vocalist Michael Ian Cummings said this about the new song:
"This is a lost single from our Rock and Roll Bye Bye LP, our accidental last record. Could this be the start of a new chapter for SKATERS? All we can do is try. But for now, it’s more of a hello again than bye bye.”
“Girls Like You” is available on digital services right now. More music from the band will be unveiled soon.
As previously mentioned, SKATERS will hit up Bowery Ballroom to perform alongside The So So Glos and Beverly. A handful of tickets for tonight’s show are available here.
