Skateboarding will be added to Ubisoft's action sports game Riders Republic

Ubisoft's action sports game Riders Republic will expand to add some skateboarding to the mix.
Announced today, the next season of Riders Republic will introduce skateboarding via the skate add-on. Starting tomorrow (September 27), the Deck Skateboard Festival will allow players to engage in street and ramp action in the new area known as The Deck, which includes six different regions. Aside from a new area, this skate add-on will include a new skateboarding career, new gear, and new tricks. A skateboarding tutorial video can be seen below.
With the new skate add-on, a handful of new digital editions will also be released. The Skate Edition will include the base game and Skate add-on, the Skate Plus Pack will include the Skate add-on, Skate Cosmetics, the Hoverboard toy, and the Ridge Ultimate Pack, the 360 Edition will include the base game and the Skate Plus Pack., and the Complete Edition will include the base game, the Skate Plus Pack, and the Year 1 Pass. This weekend (Thursday, September 28 to Monday, October 2), Riders Republic will be free to play on consoles and PC. During this period, the game will be on sale with the standard edition getting a discount of 75% off.
