Skate City will be branching out of Apple Arcade into various consoles and PC later this year.

Announced today, the skateboarding game will make its way to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Epic Games Store, and Steam. An announcement trailer can be seen below. Skate City producer Andrew Schimmel said this about the news:

“Skate City offers something a little different for players who love the sport, or just love skateboarding games. We’re really excited to see what people think, and to introduce more people to the genre!”

Reminiscent of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Skate City allows you to skate through the towns of Los Angeles, Oslo, and Barcelona to complete a slew of challenges. Of course, you can simply ride through the areas to create some killer runs.

Skate City can be wishlisted on Steam right now.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
