Siege of Akanor gets November 2026 launch on Steam

Siege of Akanor will make its launch on PC (via Steam) next month.

Revealed today, the game will arrive on November 6. A 15% launch discount will be added during its first ten days. An official gameplay trailer can be seen below.

A synopsis for Siege of Akanor reads:

Siege of Akanor combines tower defense and defensive strategy with direct third-person combat. Between enemy waves, players spend their resources building the castle’s defenses, recruiting and positioning troops, laying traps and barricades, and deciding where the next attack is most likely to break through.

When the horns sound, the perspective changes: instead of watching the battle from above, players take to the field themselves. Sword and bow combat, blocking, parrying, dodging and nine mana abilities turn every defensive decision into something the player has to personally survive.

The game can be played solo or cooperatively with up to four players. Siege Mode can also be experienced from the other side of the walls, allowing players to join the attacking horde and choose where to open the breach.

Beyond Siege Mode, the full game includes a six-chapter story campaign, multiple battlefields with changing terrain and weather, sixteen enemy types with distinct battlefield roles, troop progression, siege engines, a relic-based mode that changes each run, and both day/night and seasonal systems.
