Sergio Curbelo to return as Puya's lead singer

Puerto Rican metal outfit Puya have today announced the return of original vocalist Sergio Curbelo.
Curbelo exited the band in 2018 after 26 years. Diego Romero took over as the new singer shortly after Curbelo’s departure. “We would like to thank Diego Romero for the time he dedicated to PUYA and we wish him success in his solo career. His collaboration with PUYA will always be appreciated,” the band said in a statement.
Puya are currently working on some new material. Their last studio album was 2001’s Union.
