Sente gets August 2026 release on Steam

Oxobox Games’ strategy game Sente will arrive next month.

Revealed today, the title will make its way to PC (via Steam) on August 11. A release date trailer can be seen below.

A synopsis for Sente reads:

Take on the AI opposition on August 11 when Sente launches on Steam. Play as Jade, a human dedicated to proving that Sente isn’t just for brainy Robots. Sneak into the Robot Bar and take on two floors of challenging opponents in the single player mode or head straight into the action with online play and bot matches.

There’s something for everyone in Sente, with completely customisable boards that can be shared across the community, randomised encounters against 2-6 opponents, a bunch of challenges and puzzles to test your skills, and all of this completely available for single player or online multiplayer. It’s up to you how you want to play!

Sente includes:

The Robot Bar – Multiple floors full of challenges, puzzles, different modes, tutorials, AI Matches and even a tournament!

1–6 Player Strategic Showdowns - Face off on your own against AI, challenge friends locally, or play online in tactical multiplayer matches.

Simultaneous Mind Games - Everyone moves at once. Predict your opponents or watch your plans collapse.

Build and Disrupt Energy Networks - Expand across the board, cut enemy connections, and unleash explosive chain reactions.

Relive Every Turning Point - Replay matches to analyse your victories and refine your strategies.

Design New Battlefields - Create custom boards and discover entirely new strategies with the in-game board editor.

Share Your Modes – Export your carefully crafted arenas with a “Share Code” that you can with friends or in the Sente Community Discord.

Strategic Puzzle Challenges – Push your tactical thinking with curated scenarios designed to test your mastery.

Weekly Rewards – Compete in weekly challenges online to win skins and experience points, these challenges will reset each week!

Multiple Strategic Game Modes - Jump into quick matches, free-for-all clashes, or coordinated team battles, each mode reshaping how the board is played and the tactics you'll need to bring!
