Seattle power pop group Supercrush have announced their new Melody Maker EP.

Revealed today, the five-song release will arrive on June 3 via the band’s own KR Records in the United States, Debt Offensive Records in Canada, Erste Theke Tonträger in Europe, and Flake Records in Japan. The EP features songs taken from the recording sessions of their 2020 studio album SODO Pop. Guitarist/vocalist Mark Palm said this about the EP:

“We recorded all of the songs at the same time as the LP and then had to decide where everything was going to end up. It was a pretty challenging process, but I think these songs ended up making sense together.”

The first single from the release titled "Trophy" arrives with a music video directed by Che Hise-Gattone. Pre-order for Melody Maker can be made here. “Trophy” is out on digital services right now.

Supercrush have also announced a trek across North America in support of the release. Kicking off on June 16, the trek will feature support from LURK, Somerset Thrower, The Sad Tomorrows, TV Star, and Alien Boy on select dates. Newly announced tour dates can be seen below.
