SDCC 2024: Crunchyroll announces LiSA and One Piece concerts
Crunchyroll will bring two major concerts to San Diego Comic Con later this month.
Announced today, The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park will be the home for performances from LiSA and The One Piece 25th Anniversary: Symphony Voyage featuring the San Diego Symphony Orchestra. On Friday, July 26, LiSA will take the stage with Alice Longyu Gao, who’ll perform a special set inspired by the beloved anime NANA. joining as the opening act. Doors for this performance will open at 5 p.m.
LiSA is best known for providing the themes for anime such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, The Irregular at Magic High School, and Sword Art Online. On August 17, LiSA’s concert film LiSA: Live is Smile Always -Lander will hit theaters in North America for a three-day screening (August 17, 18, and 21). The film showcases LiSA’s final show at the Tokyo Garden Theater.
On Saturday, July 27, the One Piece 25th Anniversary: Symphonic Voyage will take over. While doors open at 5 p.m., fans will be greeted to a special assortment of One Piece activations that will remain available until 9:30 p.m. At Anime Expo, attendees got to see ab early screening of the Egghead Arc English dub (episodes 1090 and 1091).
Both concerts will be available for free for SDCC badge holders. Unfortunately, SDCC is sold out.
