San Diego psych/blues rock band Lead Pony release new single “Sincerely”
Today, San Diego psych/blues rock band Lead Pony has unveiled one more single before the release of their debut album Vultures tomorrow (July 14).
The new single “Sincerely” comes with a music video directed by vocalist Jesse Hofstee, which can be seen below. The singer said this about the track:
“'Sincerely is a sister track to the album’s title-track ‘Vultures'. It's sung from the perspective of the person that was left behind when the character in ‘Vultures’ moves to the big city. It's a farewell and an encouragement to always see the beauty in everything and hear the ‘symphony' of the city, in this case. We did some field recording in downtown Seattle to try to create the 'city symphony' that play through the outro of the song."
Tonight (July 13), Lead Pony will have a hometown record release show at Music Box with support from Ten Bulls and Moondaddy. Tomorrow (July 14), the band will make their way to Los Angeles’ Harvard & Stone. This will be followed by a string of West Coast tour dates in support of the album. Tour dates can be seen below.
Vultures can be pre-ordered here.
