Brooklyn indie punk band Sadlands have unveiled their new single “Bad Idea” today.
Vocalist/guitarist Jess Lane said this about the new single, which can be heard here:
“If you’re looking for an excuse to hook up with your ex or kiss your best friend, this song is for you. I wrote ‘Bad Idea’ to convince myself it was ok to embrace messy romantic situations. To enjoy doing things my friends wouldn’t approve of and that I can’t explain to my mom. You can have some fun, tell yourself you’re not taking it too seriously, and still think ‘this is so crazy it just might work.’ That thrill is part of the fun.”
