New York singer-songwriter ROSIE has dropped their new single “Something I Hate” today.

The track, which can be heard below, follows their previous single “Next Life.” ROSIE said this about the new song, which is available on digital services right now:

“Creating ‘Something I Hate’ was such a painful yet cathartic experience for me. I’ve always tried to write about what scares me, but speaking on such deep-rooted insecurities such as body dysmorphia and eating disorders was truly terrifying. I hope this song reaches every single person who needs to hear it and that it helps to heal others the way creating it has healed me.”

ROSIE spent the spring touring alongside Chelsea Cutler on tour. Last year, they unveiled their debut EP 20mg of Happiness, which is out on Arista Records right now.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
