Los Angeles synthpop act Riki has unveiled their new single "Florence and Selena.”
The artist said this about the track, which is available on digital services right now:
“Opening the scene is a moody line on the saxophone, played by Charles Gorzcinsky, followed by Josh's nostalgic twinkling keys.
This crescendos to a peak before a momentary breath in. To breathe in is to inspire: to animate the spirit. In this case it is to tell the story of old friends whose path forward is yet unknown.”
"Florence and Selena" is the closing track of Riki’s forthcoming studio album Gold, which will be released on November 26 via Dais Records. Pre-orders for the album, which also includes the track “Marigold,” can be made here.
