Prudence, which is the solo project of The Dø's Olivia Merilahti, has announced their debut album.

Beginnings will be released on May 28 through RCA France. To coincide with the announcement, the first single from the record titled “Good Friends” has been released. The track comes equipped with a sci-fi music video produced by Les Films de L’Instant. Merilahti said this about the music video:

“Close Encounters Of The Third Kind by Spielberg was a reference Leo & I had when we started exchanging ideas for the video. ‘Good Friends’ is an allegory about how we make friends with the unknown, without fear.”

Beginnings will be the follow-up to Prudence’s debut EP Be Water, which was released late last year.
