Pronoun announces new 'and it’s been raining ever since’ EP
Brooklyn indie rock artist Alyse Vellturo b.k.a. Pronoun will unveil a brand-new EP this summer.
Announced today, and it’s been raining ever since will be released on August 30. This is the follow-up to Pronoun’s 2021 EP OMG I MADE IT. The first single from the EP titled “i like lizzy (but she doesn’t like me)” comes with a music video written, directed, and edited by Vellturo, which can be seen here.
The artist said this about the new EP (pre-orders can be made here) and single:
“‘and it's been raining ever since' is an in real time ode to the process of getting over something that never even happened. It's about letting go in every way you can imagine to refind yourself for the fifteenth time.
“i like lizzy (but she doesn’t like me)” is about catching the feels for someone after they lost them for you; about being too late to your own party, and the frustration that comes along with all of that.”
This fall, Pronoun will be on tour with Charly Bliss. This Thursday, the artist will headline Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right with support from Um, Jennifer? Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
