Portuguese folk-pop artist Nico Paulo has unveiled their new single "Time" today.

The new tune comes with a music video featuring artwork by Sing Sing’s Sean Pecknold, which can be seen below. Paulo said this about the new song:

“‘Time’ is a song about friendship, admiration and change. It’s a dialogue between two characters that investigates the discrepancies between them — one is more rigid and one is more free. This song is the coming together and the nuance and beauty created by two opposing perspectives. They unite in a dance that forces them to reckon with time. And in this moment of change, they realize that they’re maybe not so different after all.”

“Time” comes from Paulo’s forthcoming self-titled debut album, which will be released on April 7 via Forward Music Group. Pre-orders for the album can be made here.

Paulo has a string of shows across Canada this month. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now.
