Rising pop artist Emeline has unveiled another single in 2023 yesterday.

The track “Everything I’m Not” is out on Capitol Records, and it dives into taking back power following a faulty relationship. Emeline said this about the song, which can be heard below:

“This song is about finally getting out of a relationship where I felt the need to shape myself to fit into roles in the other person’s life. When I left, all of the roles dissolved and I belonged to myself again. It’s fueled with feminine rage and is a reclamation of my power and identity.”

“Everything I’m Not,” which follows Emeline’s recent single “Feelings,” is available on digital services right now. More music from the artist will be unveiled in the future.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker.
