Photos: Kazoku Festival 2023 at Los Angeles' Japanese American Cultural and Community Center
This past Saturday, the Kazoku Festival took over Los Angeles' Japanese American Cultural and Community Center for a day of celebrating AAPI culture.
The event, which was co-produced by NIGHTSHIFT and Tune In Tokyo, brought a slew of people to the venue to check out some nifty vendors while members of Tune In Tokyo spun a slew of tracks. It wasn’t just the DJs delivering some music that day; the event also featured some live music from some rising local artists. R&B singer Honore kicked things off with some material from their new studio album Purple while J-pop singer Stephanie Yanez delivered a set filled with covers and originals, including their new single “Koi No City.”
