The Game Awards are known for their musical performances, and today, they’ve announced the appearance of one of the most iconic rock vocalists ever.
Pearl Jam vocalist Eddie Vedder will be rocking the awards ceremony, which takes place on December 10. Pearl Jam’s 2013 song “Future Days” appears in the critically acclaimed video game The Last of Us Part II. In March, Pearl Jam released their 11th studio album Gigaton, which topped the Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums charts. The album features the singles "Dance of the Clairvoyants," "Superblood Wolfmoon," and "Retrograde."
Earlier this month, Vedder unveiled their new singles “Matter of Time” and “Say Hi.” A split 7-inch featuring both songs is available for pre-order here. The 7-inch is slated to arrive in April 2021.
