Pallbearer deliver new single "Endless Place"
Arkansas doom metal band Pallbearer have unveiled another preview of their forthcoming album Mind Burns Alive today.
The track “Endless Place” arrives with an accompanying visual, which was filmed and directed by Dan Almasy. The 10-minute epic number marks the first collaboration for Pallbearer with Norman Williamson of Amasa Hines joining the track with a saxophone solo. Vocalist Brett Campbell said this about the song:
“These are vignettes which tell the stories of people who deal with myriad sicknesses of the spirit. These are illnesses communicated by the world we live in, and the subjects are the symptoms of its disease.”
Pre-orders for Mind Burns Alive, which is the follow-up to Pallbearer’s 2020 studio album Forgotten Days, can be made here. The record will arrive on May 17 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Pallbearer will be touring North America this summer in support of the record with special guests The Keening (all dates), Rwake (June 6 to 9; June 29), REZN (June 11 to 29), and Inter Arma (July 11 to August 3). Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
