Overwatch announces crossplay action
Overwatch players from all platforms will soon be able to battle it out together.
Announced today, crossplay will arrive in the popular hero shooter. While you can mess around in arcade and quick play, crossplay won’t be added to competitive mode to keep things fair. Console players would need to link their Battle.net account with their console account. More information on how to handle this can be found here. Anyone who logs into Overwatch before the year is over will gain a free Golden Loot Box.
Crossplay is currently in the beta phase with an official release date being announced soon. A video explaining things can be seen below.
