Announced on Monday, the folks at Outside In Theatre are coming together to help raise money for Los Angeles-based improviser/artist CoRy Wyszynski’s upcoming surgery this month.
This Saturday (November 6), Outside In Theatre will hold a 12-hour benefit marathon starting at noon PST with From The Couch followed by an interview with Wyszynski. At 2 p.m. PST, Crockpot Cinema will showcase another obscure film.
At 5 p.m. PST, I F%&ing Love Whisky, which is co-hosted by Joseph Limbaugh and Andrew Pearce, will feature special guests Gary McAdam & Stuart Campbell. At 7 p.m. PST, improvisers will come together for Buffering: An Improvised Online Meeting. At 9 p.m. PST, Made Up Music, which features Arlo Sanders and Alex Caan, will create another improvised song with the help of the Twitch chat.
The entire thing will go down on Outside In Theatre’s Twitch channel. Impro Theatre will also join in by re-airing episodes of The Portal tomorrow (November 4) at 9 p.m. PST and Sunday (November 7) at 7 p.m. PST and by having Wyszynski as a guest on Impro Talk with Mike Rock on Saturday (5:30 p.m. PST) on their YouTube channel.
Folks looking to donate to Wyszynski’s surgery and learn more about their situation can head to their GoFundMe page. Head to Wyszynski’s Threadless store to purchase any of their designs for your new T-shirt or hoodie. Wyszynski’s novel U-Turn at Next Synapse is available right now.
