Onyx team up with Die Krupps for new version of "Judgment Night"

NYC hip hop act Onyx have reworked one of the most beloved songs.

Revealed yesterday, the group joined forces with German industrial group Die Krupps for a new version of "Judgment Night.” The original version, which had Onyx working with NYC hardcore band Biohazard, is featured in the soundtrack for the 1993 film Judgement Night. The soundtrack included hip hop bands teaming up with rock acts for original tunes.

Die Krupps’ Jürgen Engler said this about the collaboration:

“Onyx have always been one of my favorite rap bands. I loved the version of ‘Judgment Night’ they did back in the ‘90s with our friends from Biohazard! It has come full circle!”

The new version of “Judgment Night” is available on digital services right now.

Die Krupps were recently announced as part of the M’era Luna 2024 lineup next year along with VNV Nation, London After Midnight, and Epica. Onyx have been playing shows in support of their new studio album Blood on da X.
