One Piece anime remake announced at Jump Fiesta 2024 (arriving on Netflix)

Following the success of the live-action One Piece show, Netflix will deliver more One Piece action in the future.

Revealed at Jump Festa 2024 over the weekend, a remake of the One Piece anime will arrive to the streaming platform courtesy of Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, Spy × Family). The animation studio previously worked with Netflix for their original shows Great Pretender and Vampire in the Garden.

Titled The One Piece, the remake will retell the story starting from the East Blue arc. A teaser can be seen below. The entire One Piece anime series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll right now here. The Egghead arc of the series will premiere on January 7.

Released back in August, Netflix’s live-action One Piece series is highly praised as one of the best live-action adaptations of an anime/manga property. A second season is currently in development.
