Oakland indie punk band Shutups have unveiled their new single “100Punk” today.

The new song comes with a music video directed by the band’s guitarist/synth player Eric Stafford, which can be seen below.

Drummer Mia Wood said this about the new song:

“[We] have been dying to release this one for so long, but the years of refinement has really strengthened the track in this final form. It’s so different from the other singles and most of our songs generally.”

“100Punk” comes from Shutups forthcoming studio album I can’t eat nearly as much as I want to vomit, which will be released via Kill Rock Stars on October 21st. Pre-orders for the album can be made here.
