NYC indie pop act Miss Grit signs to Mute Records, releases new single "Like You"

NYC indie pop artist Margaret Sohn a.k.a. Miss Grit has announced their signing to Mute Records today.
To celebrate the announcement, the artist unveiled their first single with their new label titled “Like You.” The song, which was produced by the artist, includes Zoltan Sindhu on the bass and Greg Tock on the drums. An accompanying lyric video can be seen below.
Sohn said this about the new single, which is out on digital services right now:
“I had the character of Ex Machina in mind as the voice I was singing from. Her arc in the movie felt really beautiful to me, and I wanted to reach the same ending as her in this song.”
The artist said this about signing to Mute Records:
“Mute is one of the labels I put on a pedestal in my mind. So the fact I was even on their radar was really flattering. And then to think they believed in my music enough to want to work together made me so happy.”
Prior to “Like You,” Miss Grit has been turning heads with their EPs Talk Talk and Imposter, which are on their Bandcamp right now. The artist will be touring across Europe next month. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now.
