Los Angeles synthpop group Nuovo Testamento unveiled their new single “Picture Perfect” yesterday.

An accompanying music video for the song, which can be seen here, was directed by Alfred Lopez. The band said this about the new single:

“It’s about a sweet, pure kind of desire - adoration, admiration, wanting, hope. It’s free of doubt and full of conviction. There’s no pain in this song, only the joy of someone’s existence and knowing that they are meant for you. It’s asking for trust until someone knows as much as you do about who you will be to one another.”

The song stems from the band’s newly announced Trouble EP, which is slated for a July 25th release on their own imprint Discoteca Italia. Pre-orders for the release can be made here.

Over the summer, Nuovo Testamento will be busy with performances in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and Tuscon. In September, the band will tour alongside Sextile for a three-date run. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
