Nintendo Switch 2 price and release date revealed

Nintendo fans now know when the Nintendo Switch 2 will arrive.
At today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, it was announced that the console will arrive on June 5 with a retail price of $449.99 in the United States. Each Nintendo Switch 2 will arrive with a console, Joy-Con 2 controllers, a Nintendo Switch 2 Dock, and ultra high-speed HDMI cable, a Nintendo Switch 2 AC adapter, and an USB-C charging cable. For $499.99, folks can purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle. This special bundle includes the console and a digital download code for Mario Kart World, which arrives on launch.
Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said this about the forthcoming console:
“Nintendo Switch 2 is the next step in at-home gaming that can be taken on the go based on eight years of play and discovery that began with Nintendo Switch. With its new features that expand the possibilities of gaming experiences, I truly believe that Nintendo Switch 2 is a leap forward in our journey of putting smiles on the faces of everyone that Nintendo touches.”
