New Jersey's Castle Point Anime Convention takes over Meadowlands Expo Center this weekend

This weekend, anime fans from the tri-state area will make their way to the Meadowlands Expo Center for Castle Point Anime Convention.

Taking place on Saturday (April 29) and Sunday (April 30), the convention will feature a slew of events for attendees to enjoy. When it comes to panels, there will be a plethora going down, including MIRACLE BEAT’s Love Live! Dance Gathering, Emirichu’s Guide to Anime Cafes, and Body Paint 101: It’s Not as Scary as it Looks. Cosplay lovers can head to Cosplay Masquerade and Cosplay Runway to check out some amazing cosplay.

For gamers, there will be a slew of console, board, and card games available to play as well as the chance to compete in the Castle Point Pokémon League.

When it comes to guests, this year’s Castle Point Anime Convention features anisong club event AniParty, YouTuber Emirichu, and voice talent Kaiji Tang (Granblue Fantasy: Versus, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works), Anne Yatco (Genshin Impact, Miraculous Ladybug), and Adam McArthur (Star vs. The Forces of Evil, Star Wars: The Clone Wars). Tang, Yatco, and McArthur will take part in a Jujutsu Kaisen panel at the convention.
