New Jersey pop artist Alex Kolo releases debut single "Like The Boys"

On Friday, 18-year-old New Jersey pop artist Alex Kolo dropped their debut single “Like The Boys.”
Back in June, Kolo worked on the track with Kim Yarson (Bonnie Dog Productions) and enlisted the aid of Joseph Jackubicki on the guitars. Kolo said this about the tune:
“‘Like The Boys’ is a pop song written to bring awareness to the gender inequality issues that women still face in 2021. I was sitting in my basement with my best friend, and we were talking about gender inequality. At that point, ideas for lyrics flooded my head and I ran to get my computer and started typing. It actually only took me about 30 minutes to write the entire song.”
“Like The Boys” is available on digital services right now.
Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
