New Jersey indie punk band Well Wisher release new single "29"
New Jersey indie punk band Well Wisher have dropped their new single “29” today.
The track is the third and final single to come from the band’s forthcoming studio album That Weight. Much like their previous music videos, the visual for “29” was shot by Jenna Murphy and directed and edited by Well Wisher vocalist Natalie Newbold, who said this about the track:
“What started as an analysis of a five minute phone call became a reframing of what is most important to me. I was caught up with so many preconceived notions about where I “should have been” at 29-years-old that I was totally disregarding the present. All these achievements, I realized, never mattered too much anyway if I couldn’t celebrate the journey of getting there, to that point. Working with my bandmates over the last couple of years has helped me channel gratitude and remain in the moment, and that’s what “29” embodies.”
Pre-orders for That Weight, which arrives on September 16 via Egghunt Records, can be made here.
Well Wisher will embark on a four-date trek across the Northeast this week. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public here.
