Netflix renews Devil May Cry for a second season

Netflix’s Devil May Cry series is coming back for more.
Revealed today, a second season of the show has been announced. The announcement comes one week after the show’s debut on the streaming service. The eight-episode first season has gained praise from fans and critics. The soundtrack for season one features acts such as Evanescence, Limp Bizkit, and Green Day.
A synopsis for the Devil May Cry series reads:
In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.
