Rising pop artist Nep has delivered their new single “Florida Girl” today.

An accompanying music video for the song, which can be seen here, was directed by Ibe Van Bouchaute. The artist said this about the new single:

“You’ve heard of Florida men…crazy guys that wrangle alligators…but there’s crazy girls that do the same things!!!! Most people make me feel like I’m WAY too much for them. There’s something I’ve really loved about being honest about who I am. I hate shutting up. I looooove talking. Things deeply upset me and that’s okay. I grew up going to the beach every day. I’m too loud and I have random tattoos and I’ve held gators and I somehow don’t fit in anywhere even though everybody seems to do the same things. Also, I kinda love saying that I’m from Florida. Owning the crazy!!!!”

The new single arrives alongside the announcement of Nep’s debut album Noelle. The 12-track album will be released on October 24 via Harbour Artists & Music. The album features previously released singles “Girls on TV,” “Biketoberfest,” and “All Around Beauty.”

Nep will promote the album with a three-day U.S. trek in November alongside direct support Abby Powledge. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
