MyDear.exe comes to PC this November

French developer Falling Leaves Studio will unveil their debut game MyDear.exe next month.

The game is set for a November 2 release on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). An official release date trailer can be seen below.

A synopsis for MyDear.exe reads:

Celebrate love with Ellie and Lucien in MyDear.exe. A short & cute game that takes place in the folders of an old PC. In the shoes of Ellie, play the game made by Lucien as a tribute to their long life together.

This “Foldervania” brings the nonlinear exploration of classic Metroidvania games, into a fake “Windows XP-inspired” interface to tell the story of two people who loved each other unconditionally for 57 years.

Humour, memories and love are on the menu in this short 2-hour experience.

Key Features

Silly Mini-games - Inspired by our characters and other retro video games.

Memories - Filled with souvenirs in the form of letters, pictures, notes… to tell the story of our lovely elderly couple.

Puzzles - Because a good 'vania wouldn’t be without puzzles, the game is filled with passwords, each using a different mechanism to decrypt.

Fake OS - We’ve put lots of effort into recreating a fake retro OS. Easy for everyone to manipulate and understand.

Fully Voiced - You play as Ellie, who is discovering the game with Lucien right by her side, and their loving interactions are voiced over to help players get a feel for their personalities.

MyDear.exe can be wishlisted on Steam right now here.
