My Chemical Romance release new song "The Foundations of Decay"

Beloved rock band My Chemical Romance have surprised fans with a new tune today.

Titled "The Foundations of Decay,” this is the band’s first single since 2014’s "Fake Your Death" from their greatest hits compilation May Death Never Stop You. The song comes with a visualizer created by Aaron Hymes, which can be seen below. “The Foundations of Decay” is out on digital services right now.

The new song comes days before the band embark on their long-awaited reunion tour, which begins in the U.K. This summer, the band will bring their reunion tour to North America with a slew of special guests, including Youth Code, Waterparks, and Coheed and Cambria. Tour dates and tickets can be found on their website.

My Chemical Romance’s last studio album was 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
