MultiVersus adds LeBron James and Rick and Morty to roster
MultiVersus will bring a few familiar faces to its roster soon.
Announced today, LeBron James and Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith from Rick and Morty will join the game. James, who will be voiced by John Bentley (Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Naruto: Shippûden), will be available starting on July 26. A reveal trailer for James can be seen below. Morty, who will be able to use grenade weapons and whip themself at opponents, will appear at the start of MultiVersus season one on August 9. Rick, who can summon Meeseeks and use their portal gun, will launch at a soon-to-be-announced date.
The open beta for MultiVersus will arrive on July 26, but players can get early access by purchasing a Founder’s Pack or getting a Twitch drop. More information can be found here. The game will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
