Canadian post-punk band Motherhood has delivered another taste of their forthcoming studio album Thunder Perfect Mind today.
The track “Sunk” is the final single released from the band’s 10-track album, which is slated to arrive on January 24 via Forward Music Group. Vocalist Brydon Crain said this about the new song, which can be heard here:
“Sunk is a rock song’s rock song. For fans of: disgusting surf riffs, huge chord progressions, driving drums, gang vocals, triumphant harmonies, spelling out a word, double-time punk sections, a titular character. The way out has been revealed after millions of years alone and it’s time to leave. Left foot in the mist.”
Pre-orders for Thunder Perfect Mind can be made here. This is the follow-up to Motherhood’s 2022 studio album Winded. The band will have a string of shows in Canada to support the album’s release. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
