Moreton release new single "Down & Out"

Australian rock band Moreton unveiled their new single “Down & Out” yesterday.

The song was co-produced by singer Georgia James Potter alongside producers Sean Cook (Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen, St. Vincent) and Tom Iansek (Maple Glider, #1 Dads). “Down & Out” arrives with a music video co-directed by Potter and Mia Forrest, who worked on the band’s previous visuals for “Circles” and “See Yourself (feat. James Vincent McMorrow).

Moreton said this about the new song:

“We wanted the song to feel uneasy but beautiful, like how it is to worry about someone you deeply care about. It’s about the complexity of realizing you’ve gone beyond each other’s reach. And the allure of recklessness & sabotage. Why does it feel so good to destroy things?”

“Down & Out” is out on digital services right now.
