Canadian singer-songwriter Mo Kenney has unveiled their new single “Signs of Life” today.

The song, which can be heard here, stems from Kenney’s forthcoming studio album From Nowhere. The nine-track album arrives on September 6. The artist said this about the upcoming release:

"A common theme of this record is exploration of relationship - romantic, platonic, familial. When writing this song I was considering that sometimes how you are taught to love isn’t the best way. There can be unlearning to do as you move through your life and discover things about yourself. There can be parallels between early relationships and how you navigate romantic relationship."

Kenney will have a record release show on September 6 at Halifax’s Seahorse Tavern. Starting on September 14, the artist will tour across Canada. On October 9, Kenney will have a special performance at The Green Note in London. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
