Minus The Bear will return in 2025 with a national tour.

Revealed yesterday, the band will kick off their headlining tour on October 4 at Portland’s Roseland Theater, and it’ll conclude with a two-night stint at The Showbox in Seattle on November 28 and November 29. Aside from Seattle, the tour also features multiple stops in Los Angeles, New York City, Denver, and Chicago. The trek, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of Menos el Oso, surrounds their previously announced appearance at Best Friends Forever in Las Vegas.

Guitarist and founding member David Knudson said this about the forthcoming trek:

“Menos el Oso put us on a trajectory that none of us were expecting. There is a “before ‘Pachuca Sunrise’ video” moment in time, and then there is an “after ‘Pachuca Sunrise’ video” moment in time. It seemed like once people heard that song, and saw that video, everyone went straight to Limewire, Napster, Soulseek, BitTorrent, etc. and shared the album immediately. Celebrating the twentieth anniversary of something this monumental in our lives is a gift. Having the chance to appreciate it with our fans, families and fellow bandmates while we are all alive and kicking is an opportunity I can’t wait to embrace.”

Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public this Friday (March 14) at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets with the code MENOS20YEARS are live right now here.

Minus The Bear called it quits back in 2018 following the release of their sixth studio album Voids.
