Michigan indie rock act Vagabonds releases new single “Conjure”
Michigan indie rock act Vagabonds released their new single “Conjure” yesterday.
The song, which can be heard below, stems from the act’s forthcoming studio album, which will arrive soon. Vagabonds said this about the new song, which was mixed by Calvin Lauber (Julien Baker, The Band CAMINO) and mastered by Will Yip (Title Fight, Circa Survive):
““Conjure” meanders through my stream of consciousness from a park bench in Eastown on a bitter cold Michigan day. I wrote this song while having an out of body experience, gazing into an endless dismal sky, and reflecting on my late teens and early 20s. I drifted through times spent on tour while losing friends and a sense of self, grasping to find peace again, and dreaming of being elsewhere.”
“Conjure” is available on digital services right now.
On November 19, Vagabonds will perform at Chicago’s Subterranean (Downstairs) with special guests Subviolet, Stillwell, and Caving. Tickets for this show are on sale to the general public here.
