Memphis indie rock band Ibex Clone, which features members of Ex-Cult, NOTS, and Hash Redactor, unveiled their new single “There Is No Light” yesterday.

An accompanying music video was directed by Noah Miller, which can be seen below. The band said this about working on the visual:

“The sun was beating down so hard it was hard to tell if everything was brimming with energy or verging on death. This song and video are about all kinds of cycles.”

“There Is No Light” comes from Ibex Clone’s forthcoming album All Channels Clear, which will be released this Friday via Goner Records. Pre-orders can be made here.

The band will have a record release show on March 4 at Memphis’ B-Side. In May, they’ll make their way to New York for a trio of shows in the region. All performances will feature Patois Counselors. Tour dates can be seen below.
