Megan Fox will voice a returning Nitara in Mortal Kombat 1

Mortal Kombat 1 will bring a familiar face back to the battlefield later this month.

Announced yesterday, Nitara will appear in the forthcoming fighting game, which will be released on September 19 via PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The vampire made their Mortal Kombat debut in 2002’s Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and appeared in 2006’s Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Nitara made their live action debut in the 2021 Mortal Kombat film portrayed by Mel Jarnson.

For Mortal Kombat 1, the character will be voiced by Megan Fox (Transformers franchise, Jennifer’s Body). Fox previously lent their voice for Transformers: The Game and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. A reveal trailer can be seen below.

Pre-orders for Mortal Kombat 1 can be made here. Folks who pre-order the Kollector's Edition or Premium Edition will gain early access to the game on September 14. All pre-orders will gain Shang Tsung as a playable character.
