Masayoshi Takanaka announces rare performance in the United States

Acclaimed Japanese guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka will make their way to the United States for a rare performance in the region.
Revealed on Tuesday, Takanaka will headline The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 9. This will be the artist’s first time performing in the U.S. in 40 years. Pre-sale tickets will go live here next Tuesday (October 2) at 10 a.m. PST with the code “TEMPO.” Tickets will go on sale to the general public next Friday (October 4) at 10 a.m. PST. With such a rare appearance, tickets for this shows are expected to go fast.
Takanaka’s music has seen a surge in popularity over the years thanks to social media. The artist is best known for their various guitars used on stage, including their unique surfboard guitar.
